We are looking for an experienced Industrial HVAC Technician to join our team. This will be a traveling position completing start ups and warranty work for Mullins projects.
Requirements:
- Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment
- Identifying maintenance risks on equipment
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
- Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems and performing warranty services
- Working knowledge of boiler systems
- Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols
- Problem solve issues with minimum supervision
- Accurately complete required paperwork in a timely manner
- Follow and adhere to the safety rules and regulations
- Operate various power and hand tools, as required
- Understanding of advanced principals of air conditioning and heating
- Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Complying with service standards, work instructions and customer requirements
- Assisting with customers’ queries
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent
- Valid drivers license required
- EPA certification required
- NATE certification preferred but not required
- Proficient in reading schematics
- Food service refrigeration experience desired
- Minimum 5 years field experience
- Able to read and understand installation, operation manuals, and specifications to ensure proper installation and function of systems
- Familiar with commercial and industrial equipment
Work Location: Based in Carrollton, Georgia, but must be willing to travel for multiple days
Pay is $33/hr, $100 a day per diem.
